About Sweat Technologies
Sweat Technologies is a software development and production business based in Adelaide, South Australia. The sport and recreation industry is rapidly growing to incorporate computer technology. Our focus is on the development of software for this exciting industry.
We provide Rapid Application Development services at a reasonable price along with developing our own innovative cross platform web-aware desktop applications. Sweat Technologies is forging a mark in the sport and recreation industry as a leader in software development. Recent development projects include iCoach for Rowing, Somatotype (software for the analysis of body shape) and Trakperformance.
Our main focus on sport and related industries stems from a deep understanding of the requirements of today's elite athlete. Even minor improvements in performance can have a huge difference on the medal tally at the end of a competition. This is particularly true of elite level sport.
Our goal is to improve athletic performance by providing the best tools to coaches, athletes and scientists. More information and/or better use of current information means improved quality of training. Backed with the knowledge, experience and expertise of its Executive Director, Sweat Technologies is developing a number of software titles for the sport and recreation industry.
Software can be developed for any reason and for any sport. Whether the software is created for the use of coaches, athletes, scientists or all three, automating the complex evaluations that coaches and scientists often deal with on a daily basis gives them more time to be hands on with the athlete. Obviously, this has benefits for the athletes, coaches, clubs, scientists and the development of the sport. Even supporters benefit when their clubs are succeeding in their sport!
The Executive Director of Sweat Technologies knows these things as intimately as any sporting expert. Monte Goulding has been an Australian Junior Champion and international representative in rowing and also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons.) in Human Movement from the University of South Australia.
